The 23rd annual Jeffrey Fashion Cares descended upon Phipps Plaza last night in a grand fashion! The sold-out show founded by New York and Atlanta retailer Jeffrey Kalinsky once again benefited Susan G. Komen Greater Atlanta and the Atlanta AIDS Fund (AAF), and has grown into one of the largest combined AIDS and breast cancer benefits in the country.
The event had approximately 800 guests in attendance. Kalinsky once again joined Event Chairs Lila Hertz, Jeffrey McQuithy and Louise Sams in producing one of the most exciting events to date.
From military, to sequins, to inspiration from the decades of the 70s and the 90s, this year’s show encompassed an array of trends. For this fall outerwear is key. Parkas, capes, bomber jackets, biker jackets, furs, shearlings, and doubleface cashmere caban should all be on your radar.
A sampling of 2015 silent auction items include: Dior sunglasses; a black leather Marc Jacobs collection handbag; an Aurélie Bidermann Gold Nympheas Necklace; a tri-colored Marni shoulder bag; a multi-tone metallic Roger Vivier clutch; and a stainless steel watch women’s watch from The Tiffany Grand Collection featuring fifty four round diamonds weighing approximately .16 carat total weight.
